My price

My price is $US60 per hour.

The price is the same for copy editing, substantive editing, and evaluation of websites.

I assess each document when I receive it and calculate the time I need to edit it. Then I quote you a fixed price based on that time. You must agree to the price before I start work.

As a guide, copy editing technical academic text written by a non-native speaker takes me about one hour per 1000 words. Easier text takes corresponding less time.

For large jobs, my rate is negotiable, but I may ask for a progress payment.

If you need work done urgently, I may charge a premium.

How to pay

You may pay me by wire transfer (preferred) or by PayPal.

I'll send you an email explaining how to do this when the editing is complete.

If you use wire transfer, you arrange that with your bank and must pay the bank's fee. If you wish to use PayPal, you'll need a Visa Card or MasterCard.
