Process
I work mostly by email, but you can call me if you need to. See Contact.
Four easy steps
1. Email me a copy of your draft
document in MS Word. Include
instructions. See box, right.
I'll respond promptly. I'll confirm
(or otherwise) that I can meet
your deadline and I'll tell you
the price.
2. Email me accepting my price.
I'll edit your draft and email it
back to you, together with
a separate comment sheet.
In the comment sheet, I may
ask you to clarify meanings, by
using different words or
re-writing a short section of
text.
3. Email me answers to any
questions in the comment
sheet.
I'll make any subsequent
adjustments and return the
final document to you.
4. Pay me by wire transfer
(preferred) or Paypal.
See Payment.
I'll send you the details on how
to do this.
It's that easy.
Instructions
When you ask me to edit a document for you, you must answer these questions.
• Who is your target audience
or what is the purpose of
your document?
• Do you want copy editing,
substantive editing, or
website evaluation?
• Do you want British
or American English?
• What is your deadline?
• Any other instructions?
