My experience is varied, which means I can edit documents on a wide range of subjects.

Telecommunications: I spent approximately 30 years in the telecommunications industry, working in roles as diverse as equipment design, sales, and strategic planning.

This work included one year in Britain, five years in a Japanese-New Zealand joint venture, visits to Japan, and stints in Indonesia.

Teaching English: In 2004-05, I taught English to business people in Santiago, Chile.

Writing and editing: My writing and editing experience includes tender documents, newsletters, service contracts, and articles for various publications, including:

Antarctica: I worked in Antarctica for two summers, where I was responsible for the safety of personnel in the field — mostly on geophysics and soil-science projects, but also film-making.
